Mark has fifteen years of legal experience. He has helped developed and managed the patent portfolio for a fortune 500 company; first point of contact for in-house counsel and foreign associates on all patent related matters; performed all aspects of preparing, filing and prosecuting both U.S. and foreign patent applications; prepared and filed reissue and reexamination applications, and appeals before the United States Patent and Trademark Office; completed legal opinions on infringement and invalidity; and client counseling.

Prior to his legal career, Mark was an Electrical Engineer for the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Rockville, MD where he performed analysis of electrical systems at U.S. nuclear power plants to identify potential safety issues as well as to determine regulatory design compliance; and prepared agency notifications to the commercial nuclear industry, special interest groups and members of Congress regarding electrical safety issues at U.S. nuclear power plants.
