David has practiced in the intellectual property field since 1991 and focuses his practice on patent prosecution in the electrical, software, and mechanical fields. He has experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications as well as preparing infringement and validity opinions. David also counsels international and domestic clients on all aspects of patent law.
David’s practice includes a wide-range of technologies including:

Prior to his legal career, David spent 10 years as an RF design engineer for General Dynamics (now Lockheed Corporation), where he designed and tested components for the F-16 Falcon fighter. He later worked as a Senior RF Engineer for Hughes Aircraft Missile Systems Division (now Raytheon Missile Systems), where he designed and maintained RF missile simulation systems.
